Advice NI receives award from Lord Mayor of Belfast

Advice NI is delighted to have received a certificate of Commendation from the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Máirtín Ó Muilleoir. The Commendation Awards were set up to award those doing outstanding work to build the future Belfast.

Advice NI’s debt service – Debt Action NI was awarded a commendation for services to the Colin Community for providing an ongoing, invaluable free debt advice service to the residents of the Colin area and making a vital contribution to the local community.

Speaking from the event Nuala McCaffrey, Debt Action NI adviser for the area said:

‘I am delighted to have received such an important accolade and to be recognised for all the hard work Debt Action NI has carried out in the Colin Community area’.

The event was attended by the Lord Mayor of Belfast and various community groups, who were also presented with an award. These included Cancer Research, Good Morning Colin Project and various parent groups and support groups
