Debt Action NI Update
Recent figures show that Debt Action NI has helped nearly 3,000 clients deal with £57 million in debt since November 2009.
In April 2011 the project budget was cut which meant the service has been reduced in Newry, Lisburn and Moyle. The project operates in 12 council areas - Armagh, Ballymena, Belfast, Cookstown, Craigavon, Down, Limavady, Lisburn, Magherafelt, Newry, Omagh and Strabane.
