Get Help With Your Finances At The ‘managing Money’ Event In Strabane

There is a free Managing Money event in Strabane Library on Thursday 20 March 2014 from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

Would you like to know how to make your money go further? Would you like practical tips on managing your finances? Perhaps help dealing with debt? Then come along to the Financial Capability Partnership’s Managing Money event in Strabane Library on Thursday 20 March 2014 from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

Several organisations from the Partnership will be in attendance to provide FREE information and resources to help everyone manage their money.

Kathy Graham, Interim Director of Policy at the Consumer Council and Chair of the Financial Capability Partnership NI said: “Consumer Council research has found that just over half of people surveyed in Northern Ireland (52 per cent) are struggling to keep up with their financial commitments to some extent, so it’s important we learn how to take control of our money.   This event will help to achieve this.

“A range of organisations will be on hand to give free information on a wide range of financial issues, which could really make a difference to the amount of money in your pocket.  We are looking forward to meeting people from the Strabane area on 20 March and we encourage everyone to register their interest and take advantage of the services on offer.”

This event is free and targeted at all members of the public.  Free refreshments will also be provided.  To book your place or for more details, contact Olga McGonagle on 028 9067 4803 or email: olga.mcgonagle@consumercouncil.org.uk
