New Staff Spotlight

Advice is delighted to welcome a few new members of staff to our team.

 

Leona Donaghy, Sustainable Energy Communities Manager

leonaWith a background in creating healthy buildings, Leona is committed to improving living environments. Her experience in environmental science and climate change research fuels her dedication to making communities more sustainable and climate resilient.  An avid nature enthusiast and animal lover, Leona enjoys rollerblading, dancing, and sea swimming in her free time.

Passionate about community projects, she volunteers at her local community fridge to help reduce food waste and support her neighbours. Leona also loves to travel and has mentored young people on the Tall Ships Races, sailing 1,000 nautical miles to Norway.

 

 

Jessie Weir, Communications Coordinator

jessicaJessica has over 10 years’ experience in corporate communication within the Southern Health Trust and is excited about sharing expertise and experiences within the Comms team in Advice NI.

She is a mum to two beautiful children & when she gets some spare time she provides free music lessons for people in her local community.  I look forward to working with all of you and contributing to our ongoing success.

 

 

Jason Henry, Sustainable Energy Communities NI Project Coordinator

jasonJason has experience in local government and helping to reduce fuel poverty. He has a keen interest in anything outdoors, from gardening (trying to grow veg)  7 walking in the Mournes.

He enjoys all sports and support Leeds United (wont hold that against him). He recently completed the Belfast Marathon 2024.
