Talk Money Week

Talk Money week, which was organised by MAPS, started on 6th November and continued on until 11th. Talk Week is an opportunity for everyone to get involved with events and activities across the UK which help people have more open conversations about their money – from pocket money to pensions – and continue these conversations year-round.

We encourage you to use the week as an opportunity to talk about any aspect of money.

Advice NI supported Talk Money Week with the aim to break the stigma of talking about money, particularly with debt and not getting into further debt over the festive period. We supported Talk Money Week via number of activities and provide money/debt information sessions to Northern Health Trust staff on money/debt how important it is to talk about money. Our social media campaign  highlighted the importance of avoiding high interest debt over the festive period as well as tips on how save or become more frugal.
