Volunteers Week 2022

To mark Volunteers Week 2022 Advice NI hosted an event especially for Volunteers from across the Independent Advice Network. This event took place on the 6th of June in PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) office space in Wellington Place. PWC offered to host the event at their premises as part of ongoing successful partnership working between Advice NI and PwC.

Volunteers' Week which takes place 1-7 June every year is an opportunity to celebrate volunteering in all its diversity and to say thank you to all those who donate their time in a voluntary capacity.

As an organisation committed to the vision of a confident, informed society, of active citizens who can access their rights and entitlements, Advice NI recognises the invaluable contribution of Volunteers across the Independent Advice Network. Volunteer contribution offers an opportunity to extend our services enriching the community we work with.

On the morning those attending heard words of thanks from Bob Stronge CEO Advice NI, Laura McDonald Volunteer Coordinator Advice NI and Anne Rice, Digital Inclusion Coordinator.

After the presentations participants mingled and chatted over lunch and enjoyed a delicious celebratory cake with a cup of tea.

The morning was a lovely opportunity to come together to highlight Volunteers Week and to recognise the dedication and commitment of our special Volunteers.
