Community Advice Banbridge is currently recruiting for a Generalist Adviser.
The post holder will provide free, confidential, impartial, and independent generalist advice to clients in person, by telephone and email, and provide cover for Outreach, Home Visits, and Information Sessions if required.
JOB TITLE: Generalist Adviser
STATUS OF POST: 25 hours per week
SALARY FOR POST: NJC Scale point 12 - £22,183 pro rata
RESPONSIBLE TO: This post reports to the Service Manager
Applicants must have successfully completed a recognised adviser training programme e.g. Certificate in Generalist Advice, or Adviser Training Programme provided by Citizens Advice, Law Centre NI or Advice NI, and have a minimum of 1 year full-time experience, or the equivalent part-time, gained within the last three years, of delivering generalist advice to the public in a social welfare context.
