In partnership with Community Advice Lisburn & Castlereagh (CALC) and funded by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Advice NI and CALC will be hosting a number of information sessions aimed at Asylum seekers, Refugees, and Migrants living in Northern Ireland and those who work with them.
‘Advice NI were contacted by a client who was a single parent and seeking advice on whether they had continued entitlement to Working Tax Credit working 16hrs per week, or if they needed to claim Universal Credit.
As you may know the Department for Communities (DfC) is rolling out measures to ensure the advice sector is prepared to assist the general public through the implementation of the ongoing changes to the welfare system.
